Volunteer Opportunities
Each volunteer works under the guidance of HFC staff to ensure a quality experience for our members in a safe environment.
-
Program volunteers have direct contact with HFC members by providing one-to-one support for members at programs. Volunteer for a program that aligns with your interests (cooking, art, games, fitness) to build the most successful relationships and have the best experience.
-
Special Event Volunteers have the opportunity to be part of HFC event committees, fundraising events and community events. Help HFC raise funds by either assisting with operational tasks or greeting attendees.
-
Office volunteers will support the HFC staff with “behind-the-scenes” operational work. This role is a great fit for someone who likes seeing a project all the way through and can follow detailed instructions. Examples include data entry, registration system upkeep, general organization, and mail assistance.
