July 6th: Pinwheels
 
Supply List
  • Print Out Template or sheet of decorative/colored paper
  • 1 round head paper brad fastener with tape or 1 Pipe Cleaner
  • Pencil/pen
  • Glue 
  • Stick (pencil, straw, or paper can be rolled into stick)
  • Hole Punch
  • Scissor 
  • Ruler
  • Optional: A round object about 1 inch wide to trace around 
 
 
July 20th: Wind Chimes
 
Supply List
  • 1 paper cup, paper bowl, or white/color paper + glue stick
  • Pen
  • Permanent Marker
  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • String (yarn, ribbon, etc.)
  • Optional: Hole Punch
  • Optional: Stickers
  • Optional: String decorations (beads, bell, etc.)

 

 

No-Bake Home Cooking

 

July 10th (Daytime): Red, White and Blue Flag Toast, Homemade Orange Julius 

Equipment/Tools Needed: 

  • Toaster
  • 2 Butter knives
  • Spoons for scooping, scraping and spreading
  • Blender
  • 1 cup measuring cup
  • 1/4 cup measuring cup
  • 1/2 teaspoon measuring spoon 

Ingredients: 

  •  1 or 2 thick slices of bread
  • Softened cream cheese, plain
  • Strawberry or raspberry jam (red)
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries, washed
  • 1 banana
  • Can of frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 cup water

 

July 30 (Evening): Hanna's Puppy Chow

Equipment/Tools Needed:

  • Microwave oven
  • Large microwave safe bowl
  • Large spoon for stirring
  • Spatula/ scraper
  • Large ziploc plastic bag
  • 1 cup measuring cup
  • 1/2 cup measuring cup
  • Parchment paper
  • Baking sheet
  • Airtight storage container

Ingredients:

  • 9 cups crispy rice cereal squares
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (substitute 3/4 cup almond butter or soy nut butter for peanut allergies)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (can use less)
  • Optional: sprinkles or M&M’s 

Fit With Friends Online 

The only equipment you'll need is:

- A chair

- Boxing gloves (optional)

- Pair of light dumbbells, or you can use items such as plastic water bottles, soup cans, etc.
